Sprint 4 · Retrospective

Sprint 4 look-back

The sprint was about how Damn Parking will be measured, and what the team does when those measures miss.

What the team recorded

What went well

  • Coverage and accuracy now have clear targets: 90% camera coverage, and at least 90% agreement with a manual count.
  • Someone is named for system performance and for project spending.
  • Severity levels give technical issues an order.
  • The team has a clearer picture of what reliable parking information requires.

What could be improved

  • New-lot onboarding still needs its own estimate. It is outside the current hour total.
  • The performance targets have not been checked against a running system.
  • Outdated counts need to be caught before a driver relies on them.
  • Communication still has to improve when a technical issue takes availability offline.

Lesson

Showing an open stall is not enough. The count has to be accurate and current. Measurable targets and a written response path are what let the team decide what to do next.
