Sprint 3 · Change Log

What the field study changed

Competitor research and interviews entered planning on October 20, 2026. Scope and cost estimates stay where Sprint 2 left them.

Recorded through October 20

  1. Competitors by category. ParkMobile is a provisional indirect alternative. Miner Metro is indirect. Arriving early and circling are status-quo alternatives. No direct competitor is confirmed.
  2. Six testable assumptions. A-01 through A-06 cover search time, app limits, shuttle use, habits, switching, and lot coverage. Listing them does not validate them or update the Sprint 2 register.
  3. Method and evidence log. The plan is eight interviews and three competitor tests. Six interviews support the current analysis. Other records, eligibility checks, and teardown notes are still open.
  4. Shuttle findings. Permit cost can be the main reason for shuttle use, with parking delays also contributing. A student without a car does not currently need parking information. Those cases qualify the shuttle assumption. They do not describe every shuttle user.
  5. Corrected interview reads. Downtown and San Francisco searches show payment use, not UTEP search times. Original answers stay in the record.
  6. Decisions held. The review narrowed the initial target group, finished the missing analysis, and clarified proposed risks. CR-01 stays with Saul Burns and CR-02 with Joe Mota. Scope and cost estimates are unchanged. Submission and the remaining research are not confirmed complete.
